Since learning how to crochet it's become a bit of a tradition to make an Autumnal cowl (you can see 2015
here and 2014
here) . This year the tradition has been extended to a scarf, and it's particularly cosy.
The yarn I used was Jarol Shetland Mist which is acrylic with a dmall wool percentage - it's nice and warm and soft to touch.
Looking forward to some crisp cold weather to wear it in!
It is just lovely Helen.

Looks very nice, great job!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely scarf. I like the colours and know you'll enjoy and appreciate using it now that the colder autumn weather is here.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors! And it looks just the right time for the scarf - I assume it is freezing cold in the UK as well? Are you coming to the German christmas markets to give the scarf an outing? :D

Lovely scarf Helen, I hope you enjoy wearing it as the weather gets colder. Hx
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely scarf, and what a nice tradition to have started. I always get the urge to crochet scarves, hats, mittens, ponchos - anything warm really - at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very cosy, I hope you'll enjoy wearing it this autumn and winter. I'm making myself a new scarf too. Hope I can get it finished before the weather gets much colder! x
