Around here... a taste of domesticity

After a busy few weeks C and I are content to find ourselves with empty diaries and no intentions to make plans. Alongside working from home we are both pottering around our home, enjoying peaceful days and relaxing evenings. I am enjoying the domesticity, which can be rare to come by around here, and think it is doing us both good.

Crafy endeavours have been accompanied by attempts at cooking/baking, and C's efforts to tidy up the garden. The reappearance of my beautiful hydrangea means Summer really is here, and quite unintentionally we grew a cat in the plant pot by the back door.

  1. Pottering is such a lovely way to pass the time, even more so with an edible something at the end. I like your cross stitch and crocheted cushion cover, the colours are lovely and bright. Hx

  3. Pottering at home is one of my favourite things to do, especially with a bit of crafting and baking and plenty of relaxing. I'm glad that you're really enjoying these days at home. Those biscuits look tempting and I wish we can grow a cat in our garden too! X

  7. Everything looks yummy and that kitty does indeed look like my Sebastian! I love the few stray white hairs they have here and there! Helen, a huge apology is in order... back in June and perhaps more you left me a comment(s) I never answered. I have my comments on my blog set to come automatically to my email but for some reason I went to check through my blog instead for comments and oh my gosh... there are at least 30 I have never seen and yours was one of them... or perhaps more as I haven't gone through them all yet... I am SO SORRY!!! I would never ignore you....From now on I will for sure be checking my comments through my blog instead of relying on my email! I just feel terrible...
